Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always persevers.

The Prayer of Faith

"Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective."

James 1:5-8, Amplified Bible
  5. If any of you is deficient in wisdom, let him ask of the giving God [Who gives] to every one liberally and ungrudgingly, without reproaching or fault finding, and it will be given him.
  6. Only it must be in faith that he asks, with no wavering - no hesitation, no doubting. For the one who wavers (hesitated, doubts) is like the billowing surge out at sea, that is blown hither and thither and tossed by the wind.
  7. For truly, let not such a person imagine that he will receive anything [he asks for] from the Lord,
  8. [For being as he is] a man of two minds - hesitating, dubious, irresolute - [he is] unstable and unreliable and uncertain about everything (he thinks, feels, decides)

Many people read this verse and say that "A person is double minded even if they have any worldly thoughts that conflict with the Word of God. Or if you have any problem keeping your flesh under control. Or if you have a problem staying out of sin." But that is not what this verse is saying, because it says that a person that is "unstable in all their ways" is double minded. A double minded person has no stable commitment or meaningful commitment to God. These unstable people may say that they are a Christian. They may even go to church, but it really doesn't mean anything in their daily life. One minute they are living a Godly life and the next minute they are in sin. These people can pray until the cows come home and they are not going to get anything from God. (St. John 9:31, 1 Peter 5: all) This is distinctly different from a person that fights everyday with their flesh and the world trying to maintain their Christianity, even if they do sin occationally and repent for each sin. This person is at least trying to fight the fight. Remember Paul, he said that he died daily. The unstable person isn't even on the battlefield. It takes more than just saying that you are a Christian to be a Christian. Just showing up at the church a few times a year just is not good enough. (Also St. John 10:24-29, 15: 9-15)(Romans chapter 6 & 7: all, chapter 8:1-8)

When we talk about the apostles, many people think that they were perfect and never failed, but there are several cases in the Bible where various apostles sinned. But you should notice that they sinned and immediately turned their life back to Christ.

     1. Peter deny Christ three times. Matthew 26: 31-75
     2. Peter acted like a Jew around Jews and a Christian around Christians
         (Galatians 2: 11-21)
     3. Paul & Barnabas (Acts 15: 1-3)

The thing is that everyone fails God from time to time. But the people that are serious about God, repent of their failings and go on with God. God cares for you! He wants you to win! If you were perfect all the time YOU would be God, but you're not.

1 Corinthians 9: 22-27, (Amp.)
22. To the weak (wanting in discernment) I have become weak (wanting in discernment) that I might win the weak and overscrupulous. I have [in short] become all things to all men, that I might by all means - at all cost and in any and every way - save some [ by winning them to faith in Jesus Christ].
23. And I do this for the sake of the good news (the Gospel), in order that I may become a participator in it and share in its [blessings along with you].
24. Do you not know that in a race all the runners compete, but [only] one receive the prize? So run [your race] that you may lay hold [of the prize] and make it yours.
25. Now every athlete who goes into training conducts himself temperately and restricts himself in all things. They do it to win a wreath that will soon wither, but we [do it to receive a crown of eternal blessedness] that cannot wither.
26. Therefore I do not run uncertainly - without definite aim. I do not box as one beating the air and striking without an adversary.
27. But [like a boxer] I buffet my body - handle it roughly, discipline it by hardship - and subdue it, for fear that after proclaiming to others the Gospel and things pertaining to it, I myself should become unfit - not standing the test and be unapproved - and rejected [as a counterfeit]. (Also Chapter 10. We should all understand that you can go to hell for any sin.)

Ephesians 5:6,
  6. Let no one delude and deceive you with empty excuses and groundless arguments {for these are sins}, for through these things the wrath of God comes upon the sons of rebellion and disobedience.

Hebrews 11:6,
6. But without faith it is impossible to please and be satisfactory to Him. For whoever would come near to God must (necessarily) believe that God exists and that He is the Rewarder of those who earnestly and diligently seek Him (out)
14. Now those people who talk as they show plainly that they are in search of a fatherland - their own country.
15. If they had been thinking with [homesick] rememberance of that country from which they were emigrants, they would have found constant opportunity to return to it (sin);
16. But the truth is that they were yearning for and aspiring to a better and more desirable country, that is, a heavenly [one]. For that reason God is not ashamed to be called their God - even to be surnamed their God [the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob]; for He has prepared a city for them.

Are you ashamed of God, to be called a child of God. Lets clear the slate, and start again.

Heavenly Father, Your Word says that, "If I will confess with my mouth the Lord Jesus, and will believe with my heart that God has raised Him from the dead, I will be saved." And Father, I do believe that Jesus Christ was raised from the dead the third day, and I do pray that you would forgive me of my sins in Jesus name. I receive you now as Lord of my life. I receive the infilling of your Holy Spirit and thank you for the total healing of my body, and my family. The anointing of agape love, and the leading and guiding of your Holy Spirit in everything I do in Jesus name I pray. Amen.

The Music that is currently playing is :

Who Am I
by Casting Crowns

Who am I, that the Lord of all the earth
Would care to know my name
Would care to feel my hurt
Who am I, that the Bright and Morning Star
Would choose to light the way
For my ever wandering heart

Not because of who I am
But because of what You've done
Not because of what I've done
But because of who You are

I am a flower quickly fading
Here today and gone tomorrow
A wave tossed in the ocean
A vapor in the wind
Still You hear me when I'm calling
Lord, You catch me when I'm falling
And You've told me who I am
I am Yours

Who am I, that the eyes that see my sin
Would look on me with love and watch me rise again
Who am I, that the voice that calmed the sea
Would call out through the rain
And calm the storm in me

Not because of who I am
But because of what You've done
Not because of what I've done
But because of who You are

I am a flower quickly fading
Here today and gone tomorrow
A wave tossed in the ocean
A vapor in the wind
Still You hear me when I'm calling
Lord, You catch me when I'm falling
And You've told me who I am
I am Yours, I am Yours

I am Yours
Whom shall I fear
Whom shall I fear
'Cause I am Yours
I am Yours

(Song based on Psalms 52 and 139 and Ephesians 2)
